ROAD CONFIDENCE AND SKILLS This safety and technique focussed course will build your confidence and competence on your bike. Starting with how to be safe on the road and plenty of top tips, we progress you at your own pace through all the key cycling skills: gears, balance and co-ordination, cornering, ascending and descending riding in a group and clip-less pedals. This course is a pre-requisite for any new members to join our club cycle rides. This 90 minute session costs £30. We will do our best to organise this session around you, so when you fill out the booking form can you suggest some suitable times (ie Thursday evenings) in the body of the form, along with any other info you think we should know about. We will get back to you to finalise times ASAP. You will need a roadworthy bike (road bike, mountain bike, gravel bike, commuter bicycle...) and while this course is designed with road biking in mind, these skills are also useful for mountain biking and track cycling too.
